Gators in the NBA on Friday night

DAVID LEE had a monster game last night for the Knicks in their loss at Golden State. The former Gator had 37 points, 20 rebounds, and 10 assists. You never know what kind of stat lines you'll see when the GS Warriors are involved in a game..

UDONIS HASLEM nearly had a double-double last night in 34 minutes off the bench for the Heat with 9 points and 11 rebounds.

JOAKIM NOAH, slowly coming back from a foot injury, only played 27 minutes last night for the Bulls. Finished with 10 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists, and 1 steal in their win over the Wiz.

AL HORFORD struggled in the Hawks loss to the Cavs. Finished with 13 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 blocks in 37 minutes, but 5-13 from the field is below average.

MIKE MILLER, the old man of this group, had 15 points, 5 rebounds, and 7 assists for Wiz against the Bulls.

MATT BONNER continues to be a solid player off the bench for the Spurs. Gave them 15 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 assists in 30 minutes last night.

Back after a 2 1/2 month break

So I guess it's been a while since I wrote on here. Basketball season, class, spring break, and school has been kind of hectic in this second semester.

Final Four this weekend in Indianapolis. Duke vs West Virginia in the second game Saturday. Michigan State vs Butler in the first game. I will definitely be rooting for the Bulldogs. After upsetting 1 seed Syracuse and 2 seed Kansas State last weekend, Butler gets to be the first team since UCLA to play the Final Four in their own city. It would be awesome to see them pull another two upsets this weekend, but it's hard for me to be confident about it. Of course after watching all the games these past 2 weeks, it's hard for me to be confident about picking who is going to win ANY game. So many great games and upsets, which is why I love the BEST SPORTING EVENT IN THE WORLD. There is nothing that can match the energy, enthusiasm, and excitement of the NCAA Tournament. That is why I'm furious the NCAA will probably expand it to 96 teams. Why would you want to mess with something that every American absolutely loves? The field will be overflooded with even more mediocre teams who don't deserve a bid. Who is Bracketoligist Joe Lunardi going to have on his First 4 OUT at the end of next February? Binghamton? Lipscomb? Northern Arizona? I mean come on NCAA, do you really want your regular season to matter even less?

Big couple of weeks coming up here for the Association. Playoff basketball is almost here.

I spent about 30 minutes this afternoon watching highlights from Spring practices for the Gators at coachurbanmeyer.com I know this could be seen as sad and pathetic, and I'll admit as much, but I'm that excited for college football to get here.
